Dr. Carole Treat, a Tucson native, is a 1987 graduate of the veterinary college at CSU. She was admitted to the elite Colorado program, consistently rated among the top 3 veterinary schools by U.S. News and World Report, after an accelerated undergraduate career of only 3 years.
After graduation, Dr. Treat worked for several small animal veterinary clinics in Tucson and Mesa until 1989, when she started Kachina Mobile Veterinary Services, a housecall practice for dogs and cats.
In 1995, Dr. Treat and her husband, Walt Clark, purchased Greenway Kennels and combined the mobile practice and the existing boarding business, to form GREENWAY PET CLINIC.
Dr. Treat has done advanced studies in veterinary dentistry and surgery and has brought GREENWAY PET CLINIC solidly into the 21st century with in-house laboratory, surgical, and dental equipment. She also has an active interest in business management, which is reflected in the team of certified technicians she has built at the hospital.
When not in the clinic, Dr. Treat can often be found riding her horses, playing tennis, participating in endurance sports, or supporting her husband in his motorcycle racing endeavors.
