COVID-19 Update

Dear Greenway Pet Clinic Clients:

The global spread of COVID-19 is a concern for everyone.  I wanted to let you know that Greenway Pet Clinic has also taken some extra preventative measures to ensure everyone’s safety, clients and employees alike.

Upon entering the clinic, we will have (and always have had) hand sanitizer for your use. Please feel free to use it before and after your appointment. I just ask that you use it sparingly as I was busy working when everyone else was buying toilet paper, paper towels, and hand sanitizer.

While we have always cleaned our exam rooms after each appointment, we are taking our disinfecting to a whole new level. This means it may take a bit more time to get you and your fur baby into an exam room, we just want to make sure it is clean and safe.

I ask that if you are sick, stay home and do not bring your pet in. Please find someone else to bring your pet in if he or she needs to be seen. I want to try to accommodate all of our patients, but won’t be able to do that if my staff and I get sick.

Any staff member who starts to feel sick will be sent home and asked to go get tested. If they do have the Coronavirus, they will have to stay home a minimum of two weeks or 24 hours past resolution of signs if longer than two weeks.

Right now, as far as I know there is one confirmed case and two other presumptive positive cases in Tucson. I pray that people are diligent and do all the things suggested to slow the spread of this virus. So be smart, be safe and take care, Carole Treat DVM

P.S. And now on the lighter side, a little humor…
